For anyone whose website is fast, well built and completely unapproachable, because changing one sentence means finding the right file, editing markup, and deploying.
Editor is not available yet. The foundations are built and it is being worked on now, but it is not something you can use. There is no date on this page because there is not an honest one to give.
What it does
The shape of it.
Edit the words, not the markup
You see the text as it appears on the page and change it there. No hunting through files for the paragraph you want, and no risk of breaking the layout around it.
No build step to learn
Publishing is a button, not a sequence of commands you have to remember between the times you need them. The site stays exactly as it was built; only the words move.
Built around your site, not a template
It works with the site you already have rather than asking you to rebuild it in something else. The point is to leave a good static site alone and just make it editable.
Meant to sit alongside the rest
The intention is that this eventually works as a tool you can add to a site, rather than a platform you have to move into.

In the meantime, there is Solo.
EightySixOS Editor is built on the same engine as Solo, which is available today. If you look after your own website, that is the one to start with, and you can try the whole thing on a fictional business before you sign up for anything.
