AI Visibility
Your customers are asking AI who to hire.
Find out how often ChatGPT and Google's AI name your business for the questions people actually ask, who they recommend instead, and which sources they lean on.
Nobody can get you into an AI answer.
Anybody promising that is guessing. This measures whether you are named today, who is named instead, and what those answers are built from. The work to close the gap is ordinary work.
How it works
Three steps.
We write the questions your customers ask
Not industry language. The plain, local phrasing people actually type: best plumber in Rolleston, who should I use for a leaking roof in Lincoln. You review every one before anything runs.
We ask the engines, repeatedly
ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Claude, Perplexity. Several times per question, because the same question asked twice gets different answers, and a single result is a coin toss rather than a measurement.
You get a rate, not a rank
Named in 7 of 12 answers, with the sample size next to it. If we have only asked three times, we say so and tell you to wait rather than letting you act on noise.
The engines
Five answers, not one opinion.
Each engine answers differently, and your customers do not all use the same one. Starter covers the three most people meet; Pro adds the other two.
ChatGPT
Starter and Pro, checked fortnightly.
Gemini
Starter and Pro, checked fortnightly.
Google AI Overviews
Starter and Pro, checked fortnightly.
Claude
Pro only, checked monthly with two samples per question.
Perplexity
Pro only, checked monthly with two samples per question.
What you get
Four things, every time it runs.
How often you are named
Overall and per engine, with the number of answers it is based on. A result from a small sample is marked as one.
Who gets recommended instead
Every business the answers name, and how often. This is usually the part people find most uncomfortable and most useful.
Which sources the answers lean on
The pages the engines cite when they answer. For local trades these are mostly directories, and knowing which ones are actually cited for your questions beats guessing.
Whether it changed
The same questions, on a schedule, so a change in your rate is something you can see rather than something you assume.

Questions
The ones worth asking.
Can you get my business into ChatGPT's answers?
No, and anybody promising that is guessing. What this does is measure whether you are named today, show you who is being named instead, and show you which sources those answers are built from. That tells you where the gap is. Closing it is ordinary work: reviews, your Google Business Profile, the directories your market actually uses, and pages that answer the question clearly.
Why a rate rather than a position?
Because an LLM gives a different answer to the same question twice in a row. A single position is a coin toss presented as a measurement. Asking several times and reporting how often you were named is the only honest number available, which is why every figure here carries the number of answers it is based on.
How many questions do you track?
Up to 25 on Starter and 50 on Pro. For most local businesses the useful list is shorter than people expect: the phrases that actually bring work are narrow, and you probably already know most of them.
What is the difference between Starter and Pro?
Starter tells you where you stand: three engines, your mention rate, the competitors being named, and how it moves over time. Pro tells you why and what to do about it: all five engines, competitor share of voice, the citation gap list, and a monthly action plan written in plain English.
Do I need to install anything?
No. This works from your business details and your website address. There is no tag, no plugin and no access to your site required.
Is this the same as your SEO software?
No, they are separate products. EightySixOS Solo is SEO software for your own website: what to fix, why, and whether it worked. AI Visibility measures whether AI engines name you. They complement each other and are bought separately.
