Local is the furthest from existing of anything on this site. It is a plan rather than a build: the shape below is what it is intended to be, not what it currently does. Nothing here is available, and there is no date.

A grid, not an average
Local rankings change street by street. A grid of checkpoints across your area shows where you actually appear, which is the difference between knowing you average position eight and knowing you are invisible in the suburb your customers live in.
The searches that bring the calls
Up to ten searches, chosen by you. Local intent is narrow, so the useful list is short: the handful of phrases people actually type when they need someone nearby, right now.
Your Google Business Profile, kept current
Review and adjust the text on your profile, and write and schedule posts, without living inside another dashboard. Most local businesses set this up once and never touch it again.
The one part that does it for you
Everywhere else, EightySixOS tells you what to do and leaves the doing to you. Local is the deliberate exception: it can draft a post, generate an image to go with it, and schedule it to your Google Business Profile. A short post on a profile you own is a bounded enough thing to hand over. A page on your website is not, and that rule is not changing.

EightySixOS Local is built on the same engine as Solo, which is available today. If you look after your own website, that is the one to start with, and you can try the whole thing on a fictional business before you sign up for anything.
